Aguilera Rocks in Webster Jewels
Rockin’ songstress Christina Aguilera is the face of the latest ad campaign touting the new Shattered and Super Stud collections by London jewelry designer Stephen Webster. Inspired by Alfred Hitchcock, Christina, an ardent Webster fan looks straight out of two Grace Kelly-helmed Hitchcock films: “Rear Window” and “Dial M For Murder”. She’s voguing in pal Stephen’s first complete sterling silver line for women, set with 18k gold accents and exotic gems like jade, chalcedony, goldstone, mother-of-pearl, and white agate in innovative inlay patterns. The designs are bold and striking, inspired by glam punk, biker studwork and gothic stained glass windows. Stephen, who designed Christina’s diamond and platinum engagement ring, said she’s the perfect face to represent his latest collection, because she’s such a passionate collector of his work. To find Stephen Webster jewelry, visit his boutique at 1a Duke St., or authorized retailers worldwide. For shopping locations, surf stephenwebster.com.

Mouawad Sets Seal in Jewelry
Grammy-winning recording artist Seal has built his career on communicating and evoking emotion in song. So when he decided to create his first jewelry collection, “Seal for Mouawad,” he wanted to tap into the emotional power of jewelry. “In the same way I connect with people through my music, I want to connect with them through my jewelry,” he says. Collaborating with celebrity jeweler Pascal Mouawad, Seal created a 10-piece collection of unisex designs that embody the same strong passion and appeal his music delivers. His new line is built around signature lockets that are rectangular in shape and slide open like a matchbox, to dangle from necklaces and bracelets. Crafted in soft-brushed finishes of 18k and 22k rose, yellow and black gold, the lockets can be inscribed with song lyrics and dusted with diamond pave. Mouawad, who also creates a jewelry collection for Heidi Klum, Seal’s wife, had been talking to the musician for years to do a collection. But Seal hesitated until he could develop an idea that he resonated with emotionally. “The lockets do,” he says, “in that I get to carry a piece of my family with me when I travel.” What’s in his locket? “A coin my wife gave him that’s engraved with a photo I took of my children.” For shopping locations visit mouawad.com.
